Overview

Ercolina Super Bender SB48-TC is an electromechanical rotary draw bending machine designed for accurate, repeatable bending of tube, pipe, and profiles. Its touchscreen control system provides advanced programming capabilities for fabrication shops and production environments.

The Windows-based touchscreen displays machine position, operating status, and alarms while allowing operators to program bend angle, springback compensation, and bending speed for each angle. Unlimited program storage enables quick recall of frequently produced parts and repeat bending jobs.

The SB48-TC automatically adjusts bending speed throughout the bending cycle and stops at the programmed angle. Electronic die-position monitoring and a patented swing-away counterbending-die vise support accurate setup and efficient material handling.

Additional features include control-panel or foot-pedal cycle initiation, right- or left-hand bending with the appropriate vise accessory, and compatibility with the A40-P two-axis positioner. The electromechanical drive eliminates hydraulic components while providing reliable performance for a wide range of tube and pipe bending applications.
