Overview
Hougen magnetic drills provide portable holemaking solutions for metal fabrication, construction, maintenance, and industrial applications.
The HMD series includes compact and low-profile machines for working in restricted spaces, versatile general-purpose magnetic drills, and heavy-duty models for larger diameter and deeper holemaking applications. Available configurations include single-speed, multi-speed, and power-feed models.
When paired with Hougen Rotabroach annular cutters, these magnetic drills provide fast, accurate holemaking while removing less material than conventional twist drilling.
The lineup includes models with cutting capacities ranging from 1-3/8″ diameter on the ultra-low-profile HMD130 to 3-1/16″ diameter on the heavy-duty HMD934, with cutting depths available up to 6″ on the HMD918.
