Overview
Nitto Kohki ATRA ACE WA Series automatic magnetic drilling machines combine magnetic-base portability with automatic drilling and feed control for efficient holemaking in steel.
The dual load-sensing system responds to both drilling and feeding forces to maintain optimum cutting conditions. Feed speed is continuously monitored and automatically adjusted in proportion to cutter load.
After a cut is completed, the Cycle Stop system detects the reduction in load and automatically stops both the drill and feed motor.
The WA Series includes the WA-3500 for holes up to 1-3/8″ diameter and 2″ depth of cut, and the WA-5000 for holes up to 2″ diameter and 3″ depth of cut.
