High-speed mechanical shears designed for production cutting, with capacities up to 12′ x 10 ga and cutting speeds up to 45 strokes per minute.
Overview
Pexto PX Series mechanical shears are designed for high-volume sheet metal cutting applications requiring speed, precision, and durability. An oversized motor and gearbox provide cutting speeds of up to 45 strokes per minute.
Standard features include four-edge high-carbon, high-chrome blades, self-leveling hold-down feet with neoprene inserts, a precision-machined T-slotted table, digital readout with handwheel fine adjustment, and a ball-screw-driven 30″ powered back gauge for fast, accurate material positioning.
The optional Pro Package adds a 5′ squaring arm, two front support arms, a rear-drop air-operated sheet support, and a front-operated powered back gauge with DRO.
The PX Series includes five models with maximum cutting lengths from 52.25″ to 145″. All models are rated for 10 ga mild steel, with stainless steel capacities varying by model.
