Overview
Standard Industrial AS Series hydraulic shears are built entirely in the USA and engineered for strength, accuracy, and long service life. Their true hydraulic guillotine design uses a single large-bore hydraulic cylinder and bellcrank linkage system to deliver full cutting force across the table for consistent, accurate shearing.
Models 14 feet and longer, as well as models with 1/2″ capacity and greater, feature a front-operated, infinitely variable power blade gap adjustment system. Oil-impregnated Nylatron guides and precision-machined gibs help maintain accuracy while minimizing wear and heat buildup.
AS Series shears are designed for long-term serviceability using common, non-proprietary electrical and hydraulic components. Depending on the model, available features include PLC-controlled back gauges, squaring arms, hand slots, T-slots, heavy-duty ball transfers, and manual or power blade gap adjustment.
The AS Series is available in a broad range of cutting lengths and capacities to meet applications ranging from general sheet metal fabrication to heavy plate cutting.
