Overview
The Tennsmith LM Series offers a broad range of heavy-duty mechanical shears designed for accurate, dependable sheet metal cutting in fabrication and production environments.
LM Series models feature Tennsmith’s 2X back gauge system for fast and accurate material positioning. Depending on the model, the back gauge provides a 24″ or 30″ range and can be positioned quickly with only two rotations of the handle. An optional digital readout is available for added positioning accuracy.
Standard features include four-edge high-carbon/high-chromium (HCHC) blades, solid-bar hold-downs with non-marring urethane inserts, continuous and job stroke cycles, motor reverse switch, a precision-machined table, and dual inch/metric inlaid bed scales.
The LM Series is available in a range of cutting lengths and capacities to accommodate different fabrication requirements. Select models are also available with powered back gauge systems and optional Performance Package configurations for enhanced material handling.
