MSE Series Mechanical Shears

Heavy-duty mechanical shears available in 6-foot and 10-foot configurations, with 16-gauge mild steel capacity, four-edge HCHC blades, and Tennsmith's 30" front-operated 2X back gauge.

Overview

The Tennsmith MSE Series mechanical shears combine a simple, low-maintenance design with dependable performance for sheet metal fabrication applications.

Available in 6-foot and 10-foot configurations, the MSE616 and MSE1016 both provide 16-gauge mild steel and 20-gauge stainless steel capacity.

Standard features include a 30″ front-operated 2X back gauge, four-edge high-carbon/high-chromium (HCHC) blades, and precision bearings. The 2X back gauge allows the operator to position the back stop from 0″ to 30″ with only two rotations of the handle for fast, accurate material positioning.

The MSE616 is available as a standard machine or with Tennsmith’s Performance Package. The MSE1016 comes standard with Performance Package F or R. Available configurations can include a five-foot squaring arm, front support arms, and an air-operated sheet support system for improved material handling.
