Overview

The Vicon Automatic Duct Liner Application System automates the processes of unwinding, cutting, applying adhesive to sheet metal, and securing duct liner as part of a coil line duct fabrication system.

The system features Vicon’s patented heavy-duty liner shearing technology, capable of processing liner materials designed for coil line duct fabrication without requiring tooling or blade changes. It accommodates various liner materials, including Armaflex® and K-Flex®.

Safe push-button controls allow fast threading and crop cutting when changing insulation rolls. An automatic adhesive extrusion system applies adhesive, while the multi-head pin spotter positions pins in rows spaced to SMACNA standards for low- and high-velocity airflows. Pin placement can also be customized through the Vicon Control System.

The system incorporates an industry-leading guiding system that requires no adjustment, open access to the glue heads for easier cleaning, and a multi-speed drive for optimum pinning speed or bypassing unlined duct.
