Overview

The Vicon Monarch Precision Plasma Cutting System is a heavy-duty CNC plasma cutting machine engineered for high-end precision cutting applications. Its rigid gantry, precision linear guiding on the X and Y axes, and digital drive system provide accurate motion, sharp corners, and clean edge quality.

Designed for multi-process cutting, the Monarch can support plasma torches, oxy-fuel torches, scribing tools, and drill heads. Its heavy-duty construction makes it suitable for processing sheet metal, thick plate, structural steel, I-beams, angle iron, channel, tubing, and fixturing.

Solid-state controls and digital drives provide fast, precise cutting, while proximity sensors help protect the drivetrain. High-speed dual drives provide traverse speeds of more than 2,000 IPM.

The Monarch is available with electronic torch height control and collision protection to help maintain cut quality and protect the torch. An automatic controlled multiple-zone exhaust system uses machine-controlled dampers to remove plasma fumes while minimizing exhaust requirements.

Vicon Fabrication Cutting Software provides an easy-to-use interface with shape libraries, Super Nest, DXF file import, and CAD sketch tools for efficient part programming and material utilization.
