MSE Series
The MSE Series mechanical shears are available in 6′ and 10′ widths for 16-gauge mild steel. These machines include four-edge, high carbon/high chrome blades, a neoprene-padded hold-down bar, and a precision-machined table. Their standout feature is the 2x-F front-operated back gauge, which moves from 0″ to 30″ in seconds with only two handle rotations.
LM Series
The LM Series builds on the MSE foundation with high-quality four-edge blades, neoprene-padded self-leveling feet, dual inch/metric bed scales, and optional digital back gauge readouts. These shears are engineered for consistent, accurate cuts and work seamlessly with SBS and other Tennsmith folders.
Foot Squaring Shears
Tennsmith foot shears utilize tri-action high carbon/high chromium blades for optimal penetration and cut quality. Adjustable hold-down feet, a double-locking back gauge with embossed scales, and clear sight lines make them a top choice for precise manual shearing in any sheet metal shop.
Hand Shears
The SK Series offers 10-foot shearing capacity in a manually operated form. These shears are built with four-edge HCHC blades, precision bearings, and Tennsmith’s reliable 2x-R back gauge system (0–24” adjustment). Ideal for shops that need big capacity without powered operation.
Air & Hydraulic Shears
Tennsmith power shears combine the rugged reliability of their foot shears with either air or hydraulic actuation. Air models use heavy-duty pneumatic cylinders with up to 40 strokes per minute. Hydraulic models like the 52H feature a low-maintenance system powered by a 2HP electric motor and solenoid valve with built-in electrical safety features including a low-voltage foot switch, magnetic starter, and enclosed circuitry.
All Tennsmith powered shears include standard HCHC blades, front support arms, back gauge, graduated side gauges, and padded hold-down feet for operator comfort and control.
